Vivian Browne


Vivian Browne has been a part of the Orange County community since 1976, fostering a deep connection with the area and a passion for the arts. She graduated from Corona Del Mar High School, attended Orange Coast College, and went on to earn her degree from the University of California at Irvine. Over the years, Vivian has become a respected art curator in the region.

Her career in art curation began as Vice-President of the Pacific Arts Foundation, where her love for art truly blossomed. This role ultimately inspired her to pursue a position in public relations and sales for a local gallery. Vivian's experience grew significantly during her time, where she studied the realm of the mid-career artist currently exhibiting in galleries nationwide. Her tenure gave her invaluable experience in assessing art, allowing her to build meaningful relationships with artists and art enthusiasts. She played a key role in promoting exhibitions that resonated with the local community.

Vivian's journey continued as she contributed to the opening of a new gallery in Orange County. Her extensive network and deep knowledge of the art scene were instrumental in attracting fresh talent to represent and showcase in the gallery's exhibitions. People often remark that Vivian has a "good eye for art," recognizing her unique ability to identify, appreciate, and evaluate high-quality artistic work. This talent has proven to be invaluable in her roles as an art curator, art critic, and art collector.

Vivian's commitment to the community goes beyond art. She has served as President of the Assistance League of Newport Mesa, a Board member for CASA and the Children's Hospital of Orange County and is currently involved with OCMA Visionaries and Angelitos de Oro serving Big Brother, Big Sister in Orange County, while still sitting on the board for the Pacific Art Foundation. Mother of 2 married daughters and a beautiful granddaughter, Vivian is also a foreign-born, naturalized citizen, fluent in English, German, and Spanish. She is devoted to making art accessible to a broader audience in Orange County.
